General Track Day FAQ's
You will need to bring your drivers' licence with you when you come to the track days. You will not be allowed to drive on the track without your licence so please do not forget it.
If you have lost your licence you may obtain a reference number from the DVLA by visiting the DVLA's website, you must bring the form with you on the day to prove you have a full licence.
evo isn't an ATDO member but all the tracks we use are, so you shouldn't have any problems with your insurance.
All drivers must have a valid UK driving licence to drive on the track on the day, therefore all drivers must be at least 17 years of age and hold their own full valid drivers licence. Provisional licences will not be accepted.
Yes. Each track stipulates that you must complete a briefing session before you are allowed out on track. If you have been to one of our track days before you'll notice that this year's briefing sessions will look a little different.
You will be asked to complete an online briefing session before arriving at the track. The details of how to do this will be sent to you by email in advance of your session.
The briefing will take place in the paddock by one of the safety team at the track so that everyone can be two metres apart.
Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your confirmation email and remember to check your junk folder. If you have any problems, please contact the evo team at email@example.com who will be more than happy to assist.
A main driver ticket includes the main driver and one additional driver/passenger for the car. If you would like a third person to come along and drive your car then they will need to purchase an additional driver ticket. The ticket also includes briefing, access to the track and tuition when this is allowed. You do not get any food and drink as part of your ticket.
A main driver includes just the person named on a ticket. If you would like a second or multiple additional drivers then each person must purchase an additional driver ticket. If you would like a passenger/spectator at the event then they must purchase a spectator ticket. These are extremely limited due to restrictions on numbers at the track while the pandemic is ongoing. Each ticket includes the safety briefing, access to the track, tea and coffee all day along with breakfast and lunch. With the current restrictions catering is done outside with meals being served in individual boxes to limit contact. Once restrictions lift we will be back in the Jackie Stewart Pavillion.
All tickets are electronic and will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
