Terms & Conditions

General

1. The Host of the Event is evo, a brand of Carwow Studio Limited of 2nd Floor, Verde Building, 10 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DH, United Kingdom, registered in England and Wales with company number 13018565 (the “Host”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Carwow Studio Limited is a part of the Carwow Group.

2. These terms and conditions are between you and the Host. This Event (as defined below) is hosted in partnership between the Host and Alpine, a brand of Renault UK Limited of The Rivers Office Park, Denham Way Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 9YS, registered in England and Wales with company number 00082932 (“Alpine”).

3. The Event means the “evo hosted ‘Alpine: The Driver’s Car’ event presenting the A110” which takes place on 17 September 2024 from 10 am to 4pm at Brands Hatch Circuit, West Kingsdown, Longfield, DA3 8NG (the “Event”). The Event involves attendees bringing their own vehicles to drive on track. Attendees will also have the opportunity to drive vehicles supplied by Alpine.

4. By completing a booking for the Event you confirm you have read and agree to be bound by these terms.

Eligibility

5. The Host will directly contact eligible evo subscribers via email with a link containing details of the Event and instructions on how to book. All bookings must be made via the “Register Your Interest” link on that page.

6. To be eligible for attendance at the Event under these terms, you must:                                                
(i) be aged 25 or over;
(ii) submit your booking request by 11:59 PM on 9 September 2024;
(ii) have valid motor insurance for your vehicle; and
(iii) have received written confirmation from evo that you may attend the Event.

7. Only one booking request and one vehicle per person is permitted at the Event.

8. No additional fees, tickets or charges are required for booking or attending the Event.

9. Please review all of the information you have submitted or will submit in respect of your booking before you complete the booking request. By submitting a booking request you confirm that all of the information you submit is accurate, true and complete.

Event and Booking Terms

10. We reserve the right to reject any booking request we receive. All places at the Event are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the Host does not guarantee that by submitting a booking request you will have a confirmed spot at the Event.

11. The Event is subject to cancellation or rescheduling at our discretion. If the time, date, venue or content of the Event is changed subsequent to your booking, you will be notified and given the option to cancel your booking. We shall not be liable for any additional loss or damage resulting from such cancellation or changes.

12. By attending the Event you agree to comply with MotorSport Vision Limited’s (MSV) Terms and Conditions (https://www.msv.com/terms-and-conditions/msvt). You must also ensure that your vehicle meets the track requirements set out by MSV (https://car.msvtrackdays.com/FAQ/Booked?utm_medium=menu). We do not accept any liability for cars failing any eligibility requirements or being refused on track for any reason.

13. The Host will contact you via email with a link to register with the track through MSV and watch a safety briefing video no more than 24 hours before the Event. Failure to register and watch the safety briefing video in accordance with this section 12 will lead to a refusal to the Event and onto the track. On the day of the Event you must attend an in-person briefing. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or vary the operation of our contract with you if events occur which are outside of our reasonable control and we shall not be responsible for any breach of contract, nor for any loss or damage, resulting from such an event.


14. Photography and video footage will be recorded at the Event. This footage may be used in future editorial and commercial content by Carwow & Alpine. By attending the Event you agree to images of you and your vehicle to appear in such content. If you do not wish to be filmed/photographed at the Event, please make a member of the evo events team aware of this at the beginning of the Event.

15. Any typographical, clerical or other similar accidental error or omission made by us in respect of your booking shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.

16. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights shall remain the property of Carwow Studio Limited. You agree not to reproduce, sell, hire or copy any materials (in whole or in part) and not to use such materials except for reference.

Data 

17. By submitting a booking request, you agree that the Carwow Studio Limited (and its brand evo, or its group companies on its behalf), may process, store, distribute and/or use the information (including personal data) you provide for the following purposes which are in the Host’s legitimate interests under data protection laws: (i) to enable it to administer bookings of this Event including deciding whether a booking request accords with these terms; or (ii) for any other reasonable purpose related to the Event. 18. By submitting a booking request you agree that the Host may share the details you have provided with Alpine. If you object to the sharing of your data in this way, please email evoevents@carwow.co.uk.

Liability

19. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Host, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the Event except where it is caused by the negligence of the Host, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Statutory rights are not affected.

20. The Host will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) any acts, omissions and occurrences in relation to the Event, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the Event; b) any changes to the nature of the Event; and c) any act, omission or default of any third party supplier.

21. These terms and conditions and the booking process referenced herein constitutes the entire agreement between the Host and you. By making a booking you acknowledge that you have not relied upon any statement or representation from us save as set out in these terms or as stated in writing as part of the booking process.

22. No term of any contract between us arising from these terms and conditions is intended to confer a benefit upon or be enforceable by any third party whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

23. These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with English Law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
